COACHELLA: Celebrity Fashion Picks 2015 - Bella Thorne, Kendall Jenner and more..

Hey loves,

It's that time of year where me and my best friends wish we were at Coachella rather than studying *cough* I mean, procrastinating. This was the first year I really paid any attention to any youtuber's vlogs and being able to watch and pretend to experience what they experienced was fun. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to go.

One aspect I enjoy looking at, apart from the line-up is the fashion. Even though, home girl Vanessa Hudgens i.e Fashion Queen of Coachella wasn't there, there was still plenty of gorgeous pieces to admire.

Bella Thorne's style this year was something to admire this year at Coachella she wore this colourful, floral patterned dress with sandals and a flower crown. Other accessories entailed an arm of bangles, several necklaces and a teal, fringed bag.

Kate Bosworth brought chic into the mix with a cowboy-feel to Coachella. The white short dress accompanied with the tribal and Aztec jacket. Her tan, pointy boots add to the cowboy-look. Although I suppose she couldn't really fit that much in that tiny bag.

Kendall Jenner dominated Coachella candids with her "too-cool-for-this" expression and occasional smile. All of her Coachella outfits had that same bohemian vibe that others had but there was something high-fashion about her pieces that I admired. Teaming a white, off the shoulder, cropped top and split sheer trousers she also rocked a grey fringed bag and alligator styled pointy bags.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley killed it with this beautiful bohemian dress, the cut-out, patterned detail was wonderful. Adding simple pieces of jewellery without layering too much brings your eyes attention onto the dress and rightly so, it's gorgeous.

Victoria Justice can rock absolutely anything. Can someone tell me where she bought her skort from? I need it in my life. This bohemian patterned skirt teamed with a cropped white top makes the skort pop. Her lace up gladiator sandals match her large, floppy hat and the yellow fringed bag ties the look together. The statement necklace matches the teal on her skirt and compliments the white top perfectly.

Julianne Hough was one of my favourites for fashion at Coachella last year and this year she still didn't disappoint. This mustard yellow and white patterned play suit had dimension to it, courtesy of the tassels and frills. Pointy toed, tan boots were evidently an essential this year and I'm not complaining.

Alessandra Ambrosio (in fear of misspelling her name) wore a beautiful low-cut, light, tie-dyed maxi dress which looks absolutely beautiful on her. With gold and silver bangles on each arm and layered, tribal, silver necklaces she added a head piece as well.

My absolute favourite outfit at this years Coachella was worn by Bella Thorne, ever since seeing these styled pants I have wanted some but I just can't rock it to Bella's level. She's paired it with a top of my favourite cut, off-the-shoulder and cropped she did well to finish off the look with black sandals, bangles and a beautiful necklace that pulls the look together.

I hope you enjoyed this post guys,
What were your favourite looks of Coachella 2015 the first week?

Kids Choice Awards 2015: BEST DRESSED!

Hello lovelies!

I'm a sucker for a good old Kids Choice Awards show, partly for the fashion and then for the slime. I grew up watching the Kids Choice Awards online and have adored every aspect of it. It normally happens around Spring time so this year you just had to expect vibrant colours. It's great to note that if you were to take anything away from the awards show, it's some great fashion inspiration. I picked out some of my most favourite looks with a bit of commentry. Comment with your favourite picks as well, hope you enjoy this post guys!

Ariel Winter looks amazing in this speckled dress and nude heels, the colour palette of this dress contains all of the bright colours you would expect Spring to bring: oranges, yellows, greens and blues. In many ways it's almost as if an artist flicked his paintbrush onto it in the most beautiful manner.

Laura Morano's purple/blue dress with awesome cut-outs and silk fabric was beautifully worn and adorned with gorgeous pointed metallic grey high-heels, she looked fabulous!

Megan Nicole is one of my favourite Youtuber musicians and it's always so great watch that journey unfold - there is a more personal element to it. Her halter-neck crop top complimented the fullness of her matching skirt and her white strapped heels break up the amount of yellow she's wearing and it looks wonderful on her.

I have admired Sarah Hyland's hilarious performance on Modern Family for a while now and she always brings the house down with her glorious fashion sense and here she really pulled off a gorgeous look that brightened up the path towards Spring.

TREND ALERT: A Spring fashion trend that hit the runways recently was in fact white-on-white and she pulled it off wonderfully from the subtle pattern on her midi-skirt to the strappy heels and plain tee.

Iggy Azalea also carried the brightness of Spring on her top half with a white crop top but finished it off with a blue, metallic, exotic printed maxi-skirt. The fabric appears stiff and ridgid but I love how it is cinched in at the waist and just flows out.

TREND ALERT: Another fashion trend hot for Spring is Eastern Influence and this outfit portrays that beautifully.

Fifth Harmony are my favourite regardless of what they wear! Their outfits tied in so beautifully together playing predominantly on white, silver and black, their stylists need a raise because each look is fantastically put together so much so that I cannot pick a favourite. However, the pieces that I particularly adore Ally's embellished jacket, Normani's beaded playsuit and Lauren's jacket, leather skirt and black strappy heels.

I hope you enjoyed this Kids Choice Awards 2015 fashion post, comment if you agree with me on this best dressed list and comment if you disagree with me, I'd love to know your thoughts!

All my love,
God bless,

MAKE-UP TUTORIAL: Red lips, Neutral eyes

Hey beautifuls, I never usually do make-up tutorials on my blog and I feel like I have such a wonderful time doing my own make-up that I wish to share it with you guys. I am by no means an expert or professional at make-up. A few of my make-up mistakes include wearing bright green shimmery eye-shadow in Year 6, plucking my eyebrows way too thin in Year 7 and putting black eyeliner on the bottom of my eyelids (hashtag Cleopatra and not in a good way). I am still very much on a huge learning curve when it comes to my make-up. I wish I was a pro but practice makes perfect and with practice comes inevitable mistakes so I will try my hardest to explain the process of this red-lipped look I wore on my second birthday when I went home with my family last weekend.

FIRST of all, I always start with moisturiser. Then when that is dried I put Maybelline's 25 hour foundation in True Nude. Next I go in with concealer over my spots and under eyes. I normally dot the concealer with a triangle shape and blend it into my skin with my fingers.
NEXT I comb through my eyebrows with a spooley brush and start filling them in with an angled eyeliner brush from Revlon using Wet n Wild's brow kit, the darkest colour.
AFTER my eyebrows I use eye shadow, my current go-to eye shadow palette is MUA's Undress Me Too. Here I used the shade Wink. I place that all over my eyelid. Then I use Loreal's Superliner in Black along the top of my eye and I always angle it out.
THEN I curl my eyelashes and use Maxfactor's Masterpiece Transform mascara. I do this twice for extra volume. I know that it is wrong to do this but I hadn't decided on wearing eyelashes that day so it was a sort of last-minute thing but after I added Eylure's Naturals eyelashes no. 031 for extra volume on my eyelashes.
FOR MY LIPS I used Revlon Colorburst lip butter in Candy Apple to get that bright red lips. It is a wonderful red, moisturising lip gloss consistency.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST I used Sleek's Contour Kit in Dark to contour my cheekbones and finished the look of with Rimmel's Stay Matte powder.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post :)

God bless,
All my love,

Haul: SALE ITEMS - from Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Superdrug!

1. Miss Selfridge - £5.00 // 2. Topshop - £10.00 // 3. Topshop - £10.00 // 4. Topshop - £10.00 // Sleek Contouring Kit - £9.99 - Superdrug // Max Factor Mascara - £7.99 - Superdrug // Garnier Marcellar Water - £4.99

For the first 2 weeks of January I was a very obedient girl to my card, all was well and money saving was working! Until a few days ago when I went to town on my own and splurged a bit too much. I wanted to show you everything I bought because these will be the last pieces of clothing and make-up that you'll see for a while!

If you know me well you'll know that Topshop is way out of my price range. I adore looking at their clothes but I window shop only. However there were about 2 racks of Topshop clothes that were on sale and I figured that I had nothing to lose purely because I most likely wouldn't find anything that I would actually want to wear. Lo and behold I found 2 beautiful tops and a jumpsuit that I will be wearing for my birthday meal tomorrow. Totally unexpected. The white lace top with the beautiful collar detailing was something that I had actually freaked out over before Christmas, it was totally my style - girly, lacey and collared detail to die for but this little top did not come cheap at the time and I was not willing to pay around £30 for it!

I love colour so the story behind the pink and black floral top is simple, I adored the collar and pattern and I thought it would be wonderful tucked into a skirt!

Now to the jumpsuit, I never wear jumpsuits I feel like jumpsuits are definitely not a good look for me I mean I get bulges where I don't want bulges and it rides up and it's just, no. BUT there was something different about this jumpsuit the sleeves are long and very bohemian and the ruffled detailing of the v-neck and back was amazing. The bottom half didn't ride up and wasn't uncomfortable but instead flowed out from the waist and skimmed past my hips.

The last top, although similar to pattern to the other top I bought because it reminded me of a top that Camila Cabello wore to an interview once, I'll insert the photo here:

Even though it's not exactly the same you can pull the top down over your shoulders to create a similar look to hers.

Make-up wise I wasn't all that experienced with contouring my face, I had watched many a youtuber contour before me but I didn't know the first thing about contouring. My good old friend Krystal who is basically my sister uses this Sleek contour kit and her contouring is always en pointe:

She inspired me to purchase it because I wanted cheekbones like hers! Anyway, I will review the Sleek contouring kit and the mascara because I have quite a lot to say about them! The Garnier micellar water is ace at getting all of my make-up off of my face thoroughly before bedtime. It leaves my skin feeling really clean and hydrated as well I would recommend this for those who love to get lazy with taking their make-up off.

I hope you enjoyed this quick post guys!
God bless,
All my love,

DAILY LIFE: A Trip to a Vintage Fair!

Hey guys,

Here's a quick post to feast your eyes on and it's all about a Vintage Fair that I recently went to in the centre of the city I'm currently studying in. Apparently it has been voted the best Vintage Fair in the UK and the entry was only £2.00 which was incredible for the beauty that you were allowed to gaze upon.

These photos are 1/4 and maybe not even that of the Vintage jewellery that was there, there were countless other beautiful stalls that were filled with embroidered clothing, sequin dresses, beaded garments and classic designer handbags. It held all the clothes that were worn by those gone before us yet it still had that wonderful feeling of unity between generations of fashion held together and in tact by these wonderful people with a passion for the old.

This Vintage fair had absolutely everything going on in it, I honestly felt like I had stepped back in time for a while. There were singers with beautiful voices that played classics that some of you may have had a chance to listen to in your childhood and there were beautifully dressed sellers with their jewellery stacked high and eyeliner flicked out.

For those that are considering visiting a Vintage Fair I would strongly suggest trying it out, no longer will you have to be afraid that someone will have either the same outfit as you or the same outfit in a different colour than you each piece is unique and that is the beauty of Vintage.

Hope you enjoyed this quick post guys,
God bless,

STEAL HER STYLE: Selena Gomez at Charles-de-Gaulle Airport Outfit

Hey guys,

Here's a quick "steal her style" post featuring Selena Gomez, whose style I greatly admire, so much so, when I was around 16 I saw her wearing a pair of blue converse, I begged my mum to me them for Christmas the following Christmas and she got me black ones instead and I was upset at the time but those converse are my go-to shoe and thinking back on all the times I've worn them it was so easy to pop them onto an outfit whereas had I received the blue ones it may have been a little difficult.

Anyway, ramble over, I have been meaning to do another one of these posts recently but I didn't get round to doing it.

I loved this outfit on her because it's an awesome quirky, chic outfit that can be casual and comfy as well. She has such a way with fashion I admire these simple pieces, it makes me hopeful that casual can look well put together as well.

The Autumn COAT Edit

Hey wonderfuls,

I'm trying to pick up the pace with blogging this month so this is the second post of the month, I was going to attempt to blog one post a day but that didn't go to plan. I will try my hardest to blog often!

I have a few friends that have been in search of a good winter coat. Coats in England are essential especially this time of the month so it is important to take into consideration a few things, for example - colour, endurance, thickness and style.

First of all, colour - if you're like me and will opt for a black coat because I have a "black goes with everything" mindset then that's wonderful. Inded black does go with everything but sometimes it can appear as if I'm attending a funeral so don't be scared to experiment with colour.

Take note of the colours of the clothing that you wear most often, this can help you find an autumn/winter coat because you'll have little colour-clashing problems.

Navy, burgundy and military green seem to be making a lot of appearances this year as well as pastel colours I've found! So be sure to try coats that initially you wouldn't have pictured yourself in before - you could be surprised!

Next up - endurance which could tie in with thickness as well, I don't know whether that is the right word to describe what I want to say but basically, let me break it down. You've got to invest in a coat that's going to last. A coat that grants warmth as well as a protection from the rain. It defeats the point of a good winter coat if the rain just soaks into it making your clothes all damp. Which brings me to another point, it might be a good idea to purchase a coat with a hood, it's not essential but it sure does help out a lot when those rainy days hit you on the day you forget your umbrella!

Last of all style, choose a style that you feel most comfortable in because coats, like handbags can be used everyday and if you don't like the style of your coat you're not going to enjoy wearing it. For me, I prefer coats that fan out into an A-line shape because it skims over my curves and cinches in at my waist. In terms of sizing I find that it could be advantageous to get a coat one size bigger than your usual size this is because it is something that you're always putting on top of  your clothing so when you wear big fluffy jumpers you have enough room within your coat to do so without feeling like a sumo-wrestler.

Here are winter coats that I have chosen to show you guys hopefully you guys find these all affordable:

The AUTUMN: Boot Edit

Hey guys,

Autumn is well underway here in England - the grounds are covered in leaves and the air is crisp. I don't know about you guys but in order for me to combat the harsh weather conditions that may or may not make an appearance in the upcoming months I need a good pair shoes to meander about in. My preference are Boots - I have recently broken a pair of shoes that I was able to walk around in for a good few years. I still can't get over the fact that they have left me. Now, I have taken it upon myself to begin a search for their replacements (a tough shoe to fit). STYLE CRUSH TV: Once Upon a Time

Hey lovelies, todays post is going to be about the television show Once Upon A Time - a show I'm currently obseesed with. To gather what the show is all about you'll have to think of every fairytale ever told and mesh it into one. Imagine every fairytale coming to earth from different lands, insert family issues, complicated love triangles and relationship a bit of resentment and you have Once Upon A Time! I have found outfits that are relative to the styles of a few of the main girl actresses of the show so I hope you enjoy this post as I had a lot of time making it and searching for different clothing pieces.

EMMA SWAN

Emma's style is very casual and simple, she normally pairs plain colours with jeans, combat boots and a leather jacket. Her style is edgy and looks and probably feels comfortable - it's efficient. This reflects her personality at the beginning of the series where Emma has her walls up, the dark wash colours reflect a fierce and sassy persona that she hides behind to stop her from caring. Her style is more on the sporty side which suits her job as Sheriff in the series, it enables her to capture the villains of Storybrooke and fight dragons. As the lead chracter of the show we watch her evolve into a wonderful, caring and loving mother, daughter and friend. She develops that heroic spirit throughout the show (baring in mind I have only just started season 2 - this has the potential to change) therefore the focus is on who she is rather than what she wears and you can find this care-free spirit evident in her choice of wardrobe.

MARY MARGARET (SNOW WHITE)

Mary Margaret's style is girly, floral and cute - her personality is reflected in her clothing. Purity, kindness, love and forgiveness lies in the off-white, ditsy floral patterns, pastel colours and tea dresses. The flows of her dresses and skirts that go outwards accentuate her small waist and end around the knee giving off a 1950's vibe to her style. This shape also creates a look of modesty and about her which suits her occupation perfectly as a primary school teacher.

REGINA (EVIL QUEEN)

Regina's style contains formal elements. there are a lot of assymetric shapes and blazers with pencil skirts that are used in her wardrobe. She dresses formally which is appropriate as the mayor of Storybrooke, this style gives her a sense of authority and power with a look of importance about her. In terms of her shoe choice the black pumps elongate her legs and compliment the smart appearance of her apparel.

RUBY (RED RIDING HOOD)

Red's style is one of my favourites, she plays around with different themes mixing edgy and bohemian together, all with the colour red laced into it. It relates to her name and gives her a unique and signature look. Pictured below are pieces that also centre around the colour black, she accentuates the red further by using a red lipstick.
