OOTD: Florals and Greys

Hey guys,

A few beautiful sunny days ago I wore an outfit, clothes are recommended here in the UK you see. I liked the little ensemble of clothing I had on so I decided to take a few photos of me failing to pose in it. I believe this is my second outfit of the day that I've done on this blog which is a sign that I should be posting more outfits really isn't it?

Are you ready for an onslaught of photos from different angles of my outfit of the day?
Then here goes:

My grey t-shirt with a pocket is a top from the pyjama section in Matalan I believe it was £4.00 and all I did was tie it so it appeared somewhat cropped.

I bought my floral pink skort from Primark for £7.00 which was a bargain because it is beautiful.

My grey and white cardigan is from H & M as was also only £7.00 - it is currently my go-to cardigan for all outfit choices which is such a bargain for the amount of outfits I put with it.

My necklace was £3.00 from Primark and if you can't see it clearly is a gold chain with jewelled pink teardrops going around it.

Here is a selfie, I took my hair from out of a bun so it just sits on my head, doesn't do much and is really hard to control. I'm wearing Maybelline and Rimmel London foundation mixed together, Maybelline's Brow Drama on my eyebrows, MUA eyeshadow palette Heaven and Earth on my eyelids, Loreal Superliner in Black for eyeliner and Clinique's lip balm crayon that I got free in a Glamour Magazine for £2.00 :)

Because I forgot to show you my earrings here is a picture of them, I bought them in a set of 3 similar colours I thought that these pink ones went especially well with my necklace. They were £2.00 I believe, from Primark.

Here is what I was wearing on my feet, just simple sandals in white that I got from Primark for £6.00 years ago, excuse the background :)

So yes, there it is my outfit of the day, above is a photo of me standing awakwardly because my mum told to stand like that.

In case you wanted to see how white my feet are compared to my legs, here you go.
It's also for the benefit of those who wished for a sandal close-upm excuse my feet. :)

So there it is, my second outfit of the day post!
Thankyou for taking the time out to check this post, I hope you enjoyed it,
God bless,
All my love,

Home Decor for UNDER £10: Frames, Mirrors, Pillows, Ornaments etc.

Hey beautifuls,

Over the past few months I have been searching for homeware for my bedroom and I've accumulated quite a lot of decor and over time it's proven quite expensive so I wanted to give you guys ideas for your bedroom if you're thinking of decorating this summer. All of these items are inexpensive and affordable being under £10 so I hope you enjoy the items I found.. I'm surprised I haven't bought all of them myself!

An inexpensive way of decorating your bedroom and making it your own is placing photo frames in it, there are tons photo frames going around and they can go for really cheap. You don't even have to put photos in them, what I did for a few of my photo frames was place floral wrapping paper inside it, it's looks very creative and takes no more then 5 minutes.

1. Pink Noticeboard - £10 - George at ASDA
2. Pink Riviera Printt Buntin - £6 - ASDA
3. White Beach Hut Frame - £3.99 - The Range
4. Timeless Gold Aperture Frame - £6.99 - The Range
5. Romance Heart Frame - £1.99 - The Range
6. Harmony Photo Frame - £3.99 - The Range
7. Tropical Floral Jewellery - £10 - The Range
8. Home Cream Wire Lantern - £6 - ASDA

These items can create a vintage feel to any home I've always thought that white makes ones room feel cold but I believe that if it's used in the correct way with a combination of neutral colours for example browns and creams it balances the coldness and creates an overall warm look. Invest in wonderful classic pieces like this clock, it adds a unique element to any room, also work whites in with monochrome items to create a modern and sophisticated look. Wooden items like the candle tea light holder are flexible in the way that it can appear very shabby chic and can go hand in hand with a beach theme. A bonus with the colour white is that it goes with anything it can work amidst bold and vibrant colours like oranges and turqouises and it can work with creams and blues so when you're stuck on what colour to buy go with white!

1. Ivory Rose Mirror - £9.99 - The Range
2. Crotchet Pillow - £9 - Primark
3. Washed Effect Metal Photo Frame - £3.50 - Matalan
4. "Bless this House" Hanging Plaque - £4.99 - The Range

APOLOGY FOR MY ABSENCE & LIFE UPDATE

Hello beautifuls,

I am so very sorry for being absent these last couple of months, there really is no excuse for it but I will say that now I have finally bought myself my first laptop with my own money (what??) It was my first huge purchase that I bought since getting my job, so it's kind of a big deal. I had ideally wanted to buy it before summer started but your girl got too caught up in shopping (my bad). So now it is finally bought I can tell you what model I got and everything!

To start off with the lovely Kate Spade floral creation above is my current laptop background minus the "apologies" logo, it looks pretty so I hope you forgive me now for being away so long.

I got an HP Pavillion 15-n278sa "15.6" with an 8GB memory and 1TB and even better, I was able to get it for £349.99 which was incredible, thank goodness for sales. If you guys wanted to buy this laptop it's the exact same price here at Currys. I also got Microsoft Office and McAfee security as well as a 500gb Cloud card which I have yet to install.

So far, it has been an incredible laptop, so fast - which I am so not used to! Another thing I'm not used to is Windows 8.1 - like, what? Confusion city. But I'm sure that in time I will be able to get the hang of it easily enough!

Another product I bought with it was this Ditsy Floral laptop case:
Aside from that I have just been working a lot trying to save money for University in September, I'll be attending Portsmouth University doing a degree in Journalism and English Literature which I'm so excited for. It's like a whole new chapter of life that I'm incredibly blessed to be a part of. I'm so excited for what God has in store for me so I will be posting a lot about buying Uni things like stationary and pots and pans!

In other news I just recently did my last Grade exam on the Violin, Grade 8 - it's only taken me a few years to get to that level but I am hoping and praying that I pass it! I will be finding that out in 2 weeks :)

Keeping on the same topic of music I'm going on tour end of July to August for 8 days with my orchestra which will be incredible - we will be going to Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany so I'll be sure to take a lot of photos while on tour.

For now, that will be all - I will be posting more regularly now that I have a laptop.
Thankyou for reading,
All my love,
God bless
