STEAL HER STYLE: Fifth Harmony's - CAMILA CABELLO

Hey lovelies, today's post is in admiration of the beautiful Camila Cabello's style. Not only am I able to relate to her girly fashion sense but she is forever encouraging when it comes to being smart and kind. This post is in honour of Fifth Harmony's anticipated album Reflection which released a few days ago. I can't wait for it to be released in the UK! Here's my current favourite song of theirs featuring Meghan Trainor:

SALE HAUL: JEWELLERY from Dorothy Perkins!

Bonjour! I apologise for not blogging frequently this year hm, great start to 2015! I apologise profusely. I felt like a simple haul blog post would be a great way to ease into a blogging rhythm so here it is. I bought these beautiful pieces of jewellery a few weeks ago and had to share the beautiful prices with you guys and to encourage you to look hard through sale racks and always keep your eyes peeled for incredible new pieces to add to your wardrobe.

I bought all of these pieces of jewellery at Dorothy Perkins and I think they're absolutely gorgeous. Now, I honestly hadn't bought jewellery in what felt like forever so when I found out the real prices of these jewellery pieces I was a tad gob-smacked to say the least.

This beautiful locket with the pastel pink opal had beautiful detailing etched into the gold and the chain is very delicate with small bits of gold on it. It was part of  Millie Mackintosh's line collaborating with Dorothy Perkins and was originally £10.00 but I purchased it for £3.00.

I have always been a fan of bright colours, it seeps into my fashion sense and I love looking out for new ways to bring colour into my style so when I saw this necklace that had beaded blends of blue and tangerine I had to get it! This necklace was originally £12.50 and I bought it for £3.00.

How beautiful is this red beaded necklace! I love the combination of the different sized beads, they are beautiful! This was also originally £12.50 and I bought it again for £3.00! See a recurring theme here?

This necklace was by far my favourite. I actually wore it to my birthday meal that I had with a few uni friends because it went perfectly with my outfit. The pastel cold colour of the blues mixed with the warmth of the gold creates a gorgeous piece of jewellery. This also was originally £12.50 but I purchased it again for £3.00. So, to conclude these four pieces of jewellery that I would have bought for £47.50 I actually bought for £12.00! Hurray for sales :D

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post, be sure to subscribe or follow me on bloglovin' for more :)

BLOGMAS #7: Christmas Party Outfits for under £20

Hey guys,

It's that time of year where parties are around the corner and we are bombarded by an abundance of sequins and glitter (which is totally acceptable this time of year) it's party season and what better way to utilise the fact that I am a very poor student then searching for outfits that cost under £20? I would most definitely wear all of these outfits for a Christmas party, they are beautiful and I love the colours and the floral patterns. I must say, it was quite hard finding outfits for under £20 that covered jewellery as well so the prices below only count the clothing and the shoes with the additional jewellery pieces added on the end. BACK TO SCHOOL: University/College/School STATIONARY HAUL

Hey guys,

Yes, it's that time of the year again where some of us return to normality and the routine of education again! Don't we all wish we were back on holiday doing well, anything but school. But let's not look upon the rest of this year as boring and repititive let's get excited for what God has in store for each and every one of us. For some of us, including myself, you will be starting a new chapter of your life whether it be going to university for the first time, moving up into secondary school or going into your second year of college. Either way I hope this new start to a wonderful year involves a change that you view as a wonderful opportunity to try new things, meet new people and generally have a great time learning because learning can be fun too guys and if some of you don't feel that way, then may you learn to love learning and if not may this stationary haul post ease a little bit of the pain.

University. That word has never left the concious and sub conciousness of my mind ever since halfway through  the second year of college when we're told to seriously think about what we want to do with our lives. Some of you can relate to this - everyone's mum and their pet dog's brother twice removed talks about university and are waiting to judge the extent of professionalism you'll reach with the degree that you choose. (Blah blah blah)

I actually didn't follow the crowd when everyone in my year was applying for university, did I regret it? Certainly not because I was given the time to really think about what I wanted to do in life whether that was to go to University or not. In the end I came to the conclusion to do Journalism with English Literature simply because I adored writing and reading. I love laying my thoughts out on a page and getting lost in a thick plot - I find it so enjoyable and that is why I decided to take it. Had I not taken a year out to work, start blogging again and been able to spend time with family and friends but more importantly spend time with myself and discover what I liked and to establish a bit more independence I would've probably been on a course that I didn't enjoy and a university that I didn't want to be at. For me it was refreshing to be able to relax after school and college and take time out for myself doing things that I enjoyed doing!

To decide about your future at the age of  17/18 years old is a lot of pressure to handle. I mean we have the concept drilled into us at such a young age that what we decide to study determines our future. In some ways it can be true, if we're focused on a career it's important to take the steps that take us there but on the other hand some of us simply don't know what we would genuinely be ecstatic to do in the future so we decide to take the subjects we enjoy and are passionate about and hope that it leads us to a job that we feel the same way in.
Either way, whether you're determined on your future career or whether everything feels like it's just gone up in the air just work hard and do your best in whatever God has called you to do now whether it's to simply to love, cherish and enjoy spending time with your family and friends or study really hard for a grade that you are proud with and need to get to excel in education. It's above all important to love, love God, your family and friends and be appreciative of your life and come to the realisation of how much of a blessing it is.

So without furtherado here's my stationary haul:

Back to School Series: SCHOOL HANDBAGS

Hey guys,

It's that time of the year where back to school items hit the shelves of our local stores - I mean I'm not complaining I am a huge fan of everything related to stationary. Even though school is more than the latest fashions and pencils it's awesome to make school that little bit more exciting starting with the right schoolbag.
It was so much easier in primary school when you were given a bookbag but now for me, entering into university I don't think a bookbags going to cut it. I have chosen bags of reasonable size but in reality it's all about personal preference, personally I would choose the biggest bag on the shelf but I realise that may not be everyone else's choice. Most of these bags are totes, some are backpacks but all are affordable and from high street shops because students, we gotta budget. Even if you're not going to school, these bags are cute for everyday use and versatile for every season, so I hope you enjoy these bags and stay tuned for more posts for my Back to School Series :)

HAUL: Makeup a la Market

Hey guys,

Today I have a really small make-up haul of things I got from a local market. I love love LOVE markets, I don't know about you guys but you can get some amazing deals from markets! I don't really know how markets get their products and are able to sell them so cheap all I'm hoping is that their products won't make my skin go bad in the future (I'll keep you posted on that one). Other than that ounce of doubt in these products overall, it is great value for money. The market I visited had brands like Maybelline, Stila, Loreal, Rimmel, Clinique and a lot more so it's wise to keep your eyes peeled whenever you come across a boot sale or market.

I love to put bronzer on my skin in the summer, I believe that a wonderful healthy glow is an awesome look to go for, especially in the summer. This Technic bronzer was only £2.00 as you can see and gives a beautiful glow to my skin when I tried it on - hopefully a make-up look will be coming soon on this product.

This small pallette that I purchased is by Maybelline and it was only £3.50 how incredible is this? The pigmentation of this palette is beyond amazing and so easy to blend with a brush or your finger. The colours can each be placed onto your eyelid individually and altogether - so many different looks can be created by this small pallette and I'm so excited to use it more often.

Does anyone remember Bethany Mota showing this product in a haul? I remember seeing it a while ago and it didn't actually turn up in the UK for a while, I didn't even realise it was in the country until I saw it! As you can see it was only £2.50 - if I'm being totally honest with you guys at first it was very confusing to get the hang of because it's bouncy like a mousse but not as easy to get into, it's very pigmented but is the kind of bright pink that limits what colour eyeshadow and lipstick you're allowed to use - very natural tones should be used when you use this product.

I absolutely adore painting my nails but I am so guilty of not putting a base and a top coat on so when I saw this Top Coat was only £1.00 I thought why not? I'm always doing my nails, might as well use a top coat so that it can last a little longer. So far it has been wonderful at doubling as a base coat!

I know, some of these lipsticks look a bit worse for wear but I have been fortunate to use my mum as a model and every single colour looks gorgeous on her. I believe that they each go for a very high price in local drugstores and I also think it comes with a clear lipstick as well but anyway - that is what surprised me, it being £1.00 and everything.

I hope you enjoyed this post,
Until next time guys,
God bless,
All my love,

OOTD: Florals and Greys

Hey guys,

A few beautiful sunny days ago I wore an outfit, clothes are recommended here in the UK you see. I liked the little ensemble of clothing I had on so I decided to take a few photos of me failing to pose in it. I believe this is my second outfit of the day that I've done on this blog which is a sign that I should be posting more outfits really isn't it?

Are you ready for an onslaught of photos from different angles of my outfit of the day?
Then here goes:

My grey t-shirt with a pocket is a top from the pyjama section in Matalan I believe it was £4.00 and all I did was tie it so it appeared somewhat cropped.

I bought my floral pink skort from Primark for £7.00 which was a bargain because it is beautiful.

My grey and white cardigan is from H & M as was also only £7.00 - it is currently my go-to cardigan for all outfit choices which is such a bargain for the amount of outfits I put with it.

My necklace was £3.00 from Primark and if you can't see it clearly is a gold chain with jewelled pink teardrops going around it.

Here is a selfie, I took my hair from out of a bun so it just sits on my head, doesn't do much and is really hard to control. I'm wearing Maybelline and Rimmel London foundation mixed together, Maybelline's Brow Drama on my eyebrows, MUA eyeshadow palette Heaven and Earth on my eyelids, Loreal Superliner in Black for eyeliner and Clinique's lip balm crayon that I got free in a Glamour Magazine for £2.00 :)

Because I forgot to show you my earrings here is a picture of them, I bought them in a set of 3 similar colours I thought that these pink ones went especially well with my necklace. They were £2.00 I believe, from Primark.

Here is what I was wearing on my feet, just simple sandals in white that I got from Primark for £6.00 years ago, excuse the background :)

So yes, there it is my outfit of the day, above is a photo of me standing awakwardly because my mum told to stand like that.

In case you wanted to see how white my feet are compared to my legs, here you go.
It's also for the benefit of those who wished for a sandal close-upm excuse my feet. :)

So there it is, my second outfit of the day post!
Thankyou for taking the time out to check this post, I hope you enjoyed it,
God bless,
All my love,
