Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Review: Candy Apple and Berry Smoothie

Hey loves,
Here's the review, as promised on the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters, I bought two of them 1. Berry Smoothie and 2. Candy Apple for £5.00 each! As opposed to £7.99 which was awesome, I was waiting for them to go down in price for so long!

Here is Revlon's description of what the Colorburst Lip Butters are all about:

- Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%
- Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth
- Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine
- Available in 20 luscious shades

I will also link you to a site where you can get them :)

I have unashamedly fallen in love with their Lip Butters, I believe it is the PERFECT in-between colour for those days where you don't feel like having the hassle of putting on lipstick because it takes a while what with lining your lips and things like that and you also don't really want to go for the simplicity of the humble Vaseline, you just want that hint of both - well, I have found the perfect compromise. Revlon's Lip Butters are wonderful for giving that subtle hint of colour to you lips as well as a healthy shine of moisture.
They also have a beautiful 20 shades to choose from! They're also very easy to apply and I believe stay on for a good few hours baring in mind this differs when you eat and drink anything all you do is simply reapply during the day.

I personally was never one to go for lipglosses as I felt that the majority of the lipglosses just was a pain when it came to my hair flicking about my face and also appeared way to wet and shiny on my lips but now that I have found the perfect compromise I just can't get enough of their collection and I must buy all their shades pronto.

This is in the shade Berry Smoothie which is a shiny purple toned colour, it shows a beautiful mute pink on your lips and has such a natural effect on your overall look, I believe this lip butter is perfect for those lazy days where you want a hint of colour but you don't want your overall look to appear too busy.

This shade is in Candy Apple and is the perfect compromise for all my girls that love wearing a red lipstick, that love having that pop of colour but if on some days can't really be bothered with the hassle that comes along with applying lip liner and lipstick then this is the perfect shade for you, it's a red colour with a hint of shine, it's perfect to wear just on its own with subtle eyes.

On top: Candy Apple
On bottom: Berry Smoothie

This blog post isn't complete with a good old selfie!
Above I'm wearing Berry Smoothie and Below I'm wearing Candy Apple Red.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post!
God bless,

Sleek Makeup i-Divine: "Oh So Special" Palette Review

Hey loves,
I have a review here for you guys :) I'm really not very experienced with reviewing products but I will make it something I'll definitely work on this year :)

I received this palette from my lovely boyfriend this Christmas as I wanted a palette from Sleek for so long, probably dating to around two Christmases ago but I never got one and I have no idea why!

To start off with, how cute is the pretty packaging, it involves all the colours within the palette so I think that it's very interesting packaging in terms of the outside.

Aside from that, the packaging of the actual palette is exactly what the definition of Sleek is, it's look smart, feels expensive and feels so smooth.

Here are the variety of colours you get, they centre round pink-toned colours and browns which also involve matte colours and very pigmented shimmer colours, also each shadow has a name, the plastic is removable and obviously now because I use the palette so much I'm going to throw it in the bin however for photographic purposes I showed them just so I can easily point out my favourites.
My favourite pink-toned colour is Gateau: which is a beautiful light pink shimmer colour which blends awesomely with Celebrate a darker purple-toned colour with a salmon pink shimmer finish.
My favourite brown colour is Gift Basket.
My favourite matte colours are Bow which I actually find having to coat more in order to get the colour to show because it isn't as pigmented as I would like it to be but I love blending it in with Wrapped Up which is also a purple-toned brown matte colour, if that makes any sense! It is very pigmented the only down-side is I find it really hard to blend, maybe that's down to my brush and I find it hard to blend even with my finger into my crease.

The other shades I haven't talked about here is Pamper and Organza They appear untouched here but I did actually swatch it, there is a recurring pattern I see here being that the matte colours really are not pigmented at all!
However Organza is beautifully pigmented and easily blendable with the other shimmer colours, I'm so excited about every single shimmer colour within this palette. Organza is a more subtle and lighter pink colour compared to gateau which has a more purple-tone behind it.

I have regularly used Gift Basket as just a single eyeshadow that I put on to go out for the day, it's really pigmented so is great for when I'm in a rush and can't really be bothered to spend time on my eyes. It's a wonderful copper colour with specks of gold - I think it has a beautiful finish!
Glitz I haven't used as much I think this is just because I'm not really that fond of grey eyeshadow and I've been questioning whether or not it would suit me or just look too obviously like I should be going out to a party. However I did swatch it and like I said before, their shimmer eyeshadows are very pigmented and almost has a ceamy consistency that lasts you a fair amount of time.
Boxed is a lighter and more matte brown compared to Wrapped Up, again because it's matte the pigmentation is about a 5/10 and the blending qualities are terrible, using your finger to apply it you have to make sure it's in the right areas because it's had to move it around as it almost sticks to your eyelid the minute you put it down!

The most disappointing shade in this collection was Noir, now, for Sleek I imagined it would be a very dark grey/black soft pigmented colour but honestly when I swatched it ith my finger I had to swipe around 5 times to get a decent layer of colour onto it. This has little to none pigmentation to it and it's overall just a tough colour to get into and for a brush to pick up. This was rather sad for me as I get really excited when I see black eyeshadows in beautifully chosen palettes because they can not only be used for eyeshadow but, if pigmented enough, it can be used as an eyeliner.

Here are the swatches for the pink-toned colours, the shimmer kind of bounces because of the flash but you can see that the shimmer colours were one swipe and the matte colours were layers of  eyeshadow.

Here are the majority of the matte colours, layered and as you can see still not as pigmented!

Lastly the grey colours, shame on you Noir for being so thin and not very pigmented at all!

Anyway there's my (kinda long) review on the Sleek "Oh So Special" Palette I hope you guys enjoyed it and I will see you very soon with another blog post :)
God bless,
All my love,

Weather, Face and Outfit of the Day - November 18th♥

Hey loves, isn't that view gorgeous!
It's the view I have from my bedroom window, obviously this photo has been edited but it doesn't stray to far from the truth, I'll tell you that!
It was a really cloudy and overcast day on the 18th but the trees were lovely autumnal colours and I HAD to take a picture. To edit this photo I used Google Photos to edit it, I'm telling you guys Google Photos is AMAZING I've been using it for this blog for a while now, I just share them privately from my phone and they're up with the click on a button! I don't even have to save each photo I just edit it and then copy the image url! You guys should seriously try it, it has made life so much easier :)

This was my face of the day, pretty simple although I think I edited the photo too much as you can't see my eyeshadow that I used, oh well you guys will get the gist once I show you the eyeshadows I used.

This pallette was one that my mum got me for Christmas, I think you can get it online on Amazon, I'll post the link here again I don't know if it was the actual one but this is close to it. It's real cheap as well! These colours are gorgeous and these brown and pink tones are probably my most used colours, I use my finger to apply them to my eyes which are not always as effective when it comes to blending but I, sadly, have not yet invested in a great and effective blending brush so that's on hold for the moment.

Here is my outfit of the day, this slouchy long-sleeved jumper t-shirt (haha wonderful description there) is from Primark and I bought it for around £8.00 maybe I got it a few sizes up so it could be super slouchy for me when it comes to wearing it. I love jumpers like this grey and white one it's perfect for dressing up and lounging around in the house with!

My skirt was from George at Asda, it's just a raspberry, cream and black skirt for £10.00 which was a bit of a splurge for me at the time because I had little money but I was in love with the whole idea of having my wardrobe decked out in tartan and plaid. It's also a warm thick cotton material which is super cosy for winter. Also the elastic waist band cinches in at the waist and we all like a good waist-cincher!

Here is my attempt at an all-together shot of my outfit, I didn't put my shoes or anything in because I don't believe I wore any but I did wear thick tights to keep me warm!

Hope you guys liked this post,
God bless

My Sweater Weather Tag! ♥

Hey loves!
I have been look around for a sweater weather tag and I haven't found the right one that really appealed to me, although some of the questions I might repeat subconsciously all these questions were either inspiration from questions I've seen or questions I've thought up of myself.

I will list the questions at the end so that you guys can copy and paste onto your blog post! If you decide to do it then post a comment on this blog post to let me know so that I can check out your answers to!

1. Do you own a cosy blanket?
Ohhh yeah. My blanket is from BHS and I actually got it a month ago and as you can see it IS a Christmas blanket and I love it to peices! Its soooo cosy, I spilt a mocha on it once and I had to washing machine it but its fine now!
Fair Isle Micro Fleece Throw Red/White - Was $12.00 Now £10.00

2. Favourite hot drink?
My favourite hot drink this month are Caramel Lattes or Gingerbread Lattes

3. Favourite thing to do?
My favourite thing to do is either blog, read a book on my bed, snuggle under a blanket watching a movie with my love or go shopping :)

4. Bodywash scent?
My favourite scent is by Treacle Moon - Cinnamon Nights. Now I recently purchased this at Tescoes and it was on sale for £1.99

5. Everyday scent?
My everyday scent is Victoria Secrets Midnights Exotics - Deep Berry, All of ya'll will kill me if I say it one more time!

6. Favourite lipstick colour?
My favourite lipstick this month is one that I previously blogged about called Revenge from the Collection 2000 range Gothic Glam :)

7. Favourite nail polish colour?
My favourite nail polish colour right now is just simply Sinful Colours in Black on Black which I purchased in Boots for £1.99
The link is here

8. Dark makeup or natural makeup?
Because I absolutely love bright lipsticks, not necessarily neon pink but raspberry and dark red colours I decided to recently leave my makeup neutral.

9. Have you honestly started your Christmas shopping?
No I haven't yet but I have seriously considered it!
Does buying snow spray count?

10. Favourite movie of the sweater weather month?

12. What does your cosy sweater look like?
My cosy sweater is one I recently bought from Asda which was in their sale section it white and black with speckle and has a waterfall affect which kind of makes it fall down the front like a scarf. I'm going to do a mini haul blog post that will feature it so keep posted for that!

13. Hairstyle of the sweater weather month?
For me I love washing my hair, curling every single strand before bed and putting it up in a bun, these curls lasts for 3 or 4 days and makes everything more awesome and easier to style than my flat volumeless hair.

14. Favourite candle?
My favourite candle is the Yankee Christmas Cookie Candle that I got at the Yankee Store in London Westfield for £12.74.

15. Best autumn memory?
This is a hard one, my memory sucks but when I was little I slightly remember going on long autumn walks to parks and just around the house (we live opposite a huge field). They were the best.

16. What is the autumn weather like where you live?
The autumn weather recently has been crisp sunny morning, colder more dismal nights and/or rain and coldness.

17. Blogging in a cafe or jumping in fallen leaves?
If I had a laptop that I could take to Costa I would but I don't right now because the internet doesn't work on it :( So I will either go for blogging at home and jumping in the fallen leaves!

18. Long Autumn/Winter walks with your love or Watching a movie with snacks?
I would say both although I have yet to convince my love to take a walk with me :(

19. Skinny jeans, Leggings or Thick woolly tights?
I would say thick woolly tights as I don't really like wearing jeans. Leggings are okay but can be quite uncomfortable sometimes :(

20. Ankle boots or Combat boots?
BOTH I'M FOREVER IN LOVE WITH BOTH.
I COULD MAKE A HUGE LONG WISHLIST OF ONES I WANT.
But I shan't.
Maybe in a blogpost I will but right now, I won't.

21. Favourite song of the sweater weather month?
I haven't really been listening to much music in terms of mainstream music but I do love a little bit of Moriah Peters or Kari Jobe on those fall days :)

Collection 2000 Gothic Glam in Revenge

Hey loves, I have a new blog post for you this glorious sunny Autumn day!

I am currently staring out of the window on a glorious Autumn /winter day in England and the sky is clear! No sign of any clouds whatsoever! The crisp yellow and brown leaves look absolutely picturesque against the blue sky and I feel the need to go out and do something even though I haven't planned anything!

I recently on a late night trip out to Tescoes with my love went to the makeup section which was surprisingly open! I thought it closed at 10pm but obviously not! Anyway I bought just one lipstick from Collection 2000 for £2.99 and that was part of their Gothic Glam collection which I was eyeing up just before Halloween.

I got no. 3 Revenge which is a gorgeous raspberry dark colour that is shiny and gives off a great lipgloss effect, I did not end up moisturising my lips before I applied the lipstick but according to these photos and reality it doesn't really look like I had to!

What drew me to this colour as opposed to the others was how dark the stick colour looks like in real life which looks like a plum colour so unless the flash has discoloured it or made it a little lighter the actual colour surprised me and it is very similar to one that I already bought previously from their Deluxe collection which appears in a previous blog post of mine!

For staying power I put it first on at 11am and after I had eaten at 3pm the colour was 3/4 lost so this lipstick is one to carry around in your handbag and reapply after 2 or 3 hours.

In terms of how easy it is to apply I thought it was relatively easy and I had little wiping off to do as it just glided on.

In terms of packaging I really like it, I think any black and gold packaging on makeup look super sophisticated and the thing with this product is that because of its weight it doesn't seem at all cheap.

If you guys are looking for raspberry, purple or dark red colours and don't feel like spending over £5 on a lipstick then I suggest you head to Collection 2000 which is available in any Boots or Superdrug store and this includes Supermarkets but they may vary depending on which one you go to.

I would just keep a lookout for their Gothic Glam Collection which actually only consists of three lipsticks and 3 gorgeous nail varnishes which, if I can get my hands on.. I'll definitely show you guys!
Have a wonderful day!
God bless

A Schoolgirl type of OOTD

Hey loves!
Hope you are well, I have another blog post for you concerning my outfit of the day yesterday, they are mostly things that I recently bought and really want to show you guys so I hope you all enjoy!

Here's a hipster side profile of my outfit, hair nails and a bit of my makeup look for you guys :)

On my face I used:
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 220 - Natural beige
Rimmel London Clear Complexion translucent Powder
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium
MUA Bro Kit with Barry M Eyeliner Brush
Loreal Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
Loreal Superliner in Black Crystals
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara
Rimmel London Soft Kajal Eyeliner
Babylips in Cherry Me

This was my outfit it kind of reminds me of a schoolgirl outfit with all this plaid going round. Back-to-school in its most literal sense!
Underneath my jumper I am wearing a Plain Black Strappy Top from Primark for £2.50
My White Grainy Slouchy Jumper was £6.00 and I got it in a size 18 so it was extra slouchy which was way too big but it'll be fine!
My skirt is from Select for £8.00
My Tights are from Primark which came in a pack of 3 for £2.50
My shoes are also from Primark for £8.00

CRAZY HAIR

My scent for that day was Victoria Secrets Midnight Exotics body spray in Deep Berry
I curled my hair parting it into four sections with my curler that I swear by - Babyliss Curling Iron
and I'm wearing no jewellery apart from my gold heart ring that my mama got me from the Philippines!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
God bless!
All my love,

Hey loves,

I have a make-up haul for you guys! So I went shopping yesterday and I saw that Boots was open until 8:00pm! We started late and managed to get shopping done in an hour and then I was a tad upset because I needed to replace a LOT of my make-up that had run out!

At Boots they were doing a 3 for 2 offer so everything here cost me £32? I will try to link as many products as possible and I will hopefully do a review on each when I have gotten more used to the products.

I was in desperate need of a foundation and I was actually going to get the little stick that you just dot around your face and blend in, I have always preferred liquid foundation more than anything else! So I got the Maybelline FIT me foundation in 220  I got it in Natural Beige and it's so fitting on my skin, I may have been able to get a darker shade but it still gives me a dewy complexion. I just apply this with my fingers, I dot it around my face and then blend it in!

Then I purchased the famous Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Liquid Concealer in Medium and I used this once and it really is amazing guys! I forget that I actually don't have to put that much on when I apply it though but I'm sure that's something I'll get the hang of!

The next basic I got was Rimmel London's Clear Complexion Translucent Powder and it was more amazing than I expected I was a bit wary because I really wanted to get the Stay Matte line and I think it may be a part of it but I'm not too sure. It gives me a gorgeous matte finish especially around my nose area and it's a great base for applying blush and eyeshadow!

I had SUCH a hard time looking for a good but not too expensive mascara for absolutely ages, it was crazy, I think I actually got a headache at some point! But anyway, I went back and forth from Scandaleyes to the Falsies and then I came across the new Scandaleyes the retro edition and I just bought it.  It coats my lashes, I didn't have time to do more than one coat but one coat was enough to last me the whole day! But more to come on that one!

Next I had run out of eyeliner, ages ago but the Magic liner I got from Maybelline was so dry and didn't even work! So I still had the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner but it was running out fast and before when I had Prom I bought the Loreal Superliner and it lasted me so long! Unfortunately after I bought it I realised I had bought the Loreal Superliner Black Crystals eyeliner which is a dark grey sparkly eyeliner and I was so disappointed because it was seriously expensive! But despite this I used it and it looks really pretty, it maybe too much for everyday use but for parties and nights out? I definitely recommend for them :D

Last but not least I bought the infamous Baby lips! I got mine in Cherry Me, the story behind this is that I got this one before and fell in love but I lost it at a meal and ever since have been trying to replace it with Vaseline so I'm very excited about this one!

Mum's purchases!

Here are my mum's purchases:

Maybelline Dream Touch blush
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light
Maybelline Babylips in Pink Punch

I hope you enjoyed this little makeup haul! Keep posted for the reviews!
God bless

Victoria's secret - Scents

Hey loves,
I have a new blog post for you guys to do with my recent purchases, excuse the rubbish photo taking with the silly flash! These are things I bought on recent trips to town and Westfield London I hope you enjoy what I bought!

Victoria Secret

2 and 3) Victoria Secret Body Spray Midnight Exotics in Deep Berry

Some of these I couldn't find links to but they were all found at the Stratford Westfield, I think that's what it's called so yeah, the prices on Amazon will of course vary from the ones that I bought at Westfield I got all of these products and another one Secret Charm which I gave to one of my best friends for her birthday for £30! They go for about £11 pound each otherwise there it is cheaper to get 5 for £30 :)

Victoria Secret Love Spell:
this was my favourite scent out of them all it's a gorgeous sweet and peachy scent that I have received so many compliments on from my friends and family. I fell in love with the scent there and had gone so far as to buy the body butter as well. It's perfect for those girls who are looking for a sweet scent this autumn despite it being all pumpkin, cinnamon and spice I find wearing this a very refreshing scent on a cold winter's day!

Victoria Secret Midnight Exotics in Deep Berry:
This scent is in my opinion perfect for Autumn seeing as berry is the IN lip colour this season. Berries is exactly what it smells like and I find it to be a very sophisticated and grown-up scent very different to Love Spell which is a more child-like, fun and fruity scent.

Victoria Secret Body Butter in Love Spell:
As I mentioned before I was so in love with this peachy scent that I had to buy the body butter and I have used this so much after I bought, I've used it to moisturise straight out of the shower and even as a simple hand cream - it leaves my hands and body smelling amazing and fruity so I suggest that when going to Victoria Secret and finding that there is an offer on that you get your favourite scent in a body butter or a lotion because it is so worth it!

Victoria Secrets Sunny Brights in Sun Blissed:
This scent is ma mommas favourite she says it reminds her of the Philipines.. which I don't think could be the fish markets haha but most likely her home with all the light fruity scents she has over there! But this one is a combination of sun-kissed tamarin and marigold which goes gorgeously together!

My favourite peachy scent of them all!

Anyway that is not all that I got from London I will post them gradually halfway through this post it seemed like a good idea to split my other buys seeing as these were a pretty meaty bunch of finds. It was my first time buying these scents and I was so so soooo excited to be at the Victoria Secret shop it is so amazing there and it looks like what Paris Hilton's bedroom or some of her closet would be! I suggest those in the UK make a day out of going to Westfield in London - both! As they are both amazing :D

See you guys next time!
God bless :)
