fashion at: The Golden Globe Awards 2014 "Best Dressed".

Hey loves,

I hope you guys are well, I recently saw that the Golden Globes were on and I haven't done this yet but I have seen plenty of bloggers do it which is their own review on the Golden Globes Fashion. So here I found photos from The Huffington Post, I'll place the link here.

And I chose all the outfits that I thought were the best in my own opinion so here they are:

Amy Adams in Valentino and Brian Atwood
This dress is absolutely stunning it falls perfectly on her, although the colour gets a little lost into the red carpet the chiffon material is beautiful. Also the dark red of  the halter-neck contrasts beautifully with the rest of her outfit. Also I love the fact that she kept her make-up very subtle but still coincides with her red theme that she has going on. Also a very good call on having the hair up, it shows the halter neck beautifully.

Julie Bowen in Carline Herrera and Jimmy Choo
I have always found Julie Bowen beautiful and hilarious, this dress looks remarkable on her, she really works velvet well also, the cut of the dress which cinches in at the waist is a beautiful shape on her. The combination of red and purple go beautifully here and I was a fan of her middle-parting hairdo also!

Anna Gunn in Donna Karen and Karan Atelier
This was one of my favourite dresses simply because it was a different take on the fishtail style with the layers of material and how it wasn't as cinched in at the knee but instead flows out beautifully into a sea of golden material.

Lupita Nyong'o in Ralph Lauren, Fred Leighton and Monica Rich Kosann
I heard that people were very keen on following Nyong'o's style and she really didn't dissappoint, this cape styled dress was a beautiful and unique take on the red dress which compliments her beautiful skin tone and accessories. She was stunning!

Taylor Swift in Carolina Herrera
Is it me or can Taylor Swift rock just about anything, the colour blocking on this dress looks beautiful and the sweetheart neckline looks also gorgeous on her. I love the layering of material that creates a unique shape to the dress I especially love the trail the gown makes, it's very sophisticated and vintage. Well done Taylor!

Mila Kunis in Gucci, Marina B and Gemfields
I love sparkles which may be the generic girly-girl statement but Mila Kunis's dress is gorgeous I will always be a fan of chiffon so chiffon and sequins is the perfect combination especially if it creates an ombre effect. I see a theme with the halter neck style running through the Golden Globe fashion and I'm loving it although personally I don't think I have the beautiful neckline for it I think it's about time that it came back.

Taylor Schilling in Thakoon, Stuart Weitzman, Swarovski
The one thing I really admire the most about this dress is the neck detail which is a beautiful victorian lace I also really admire the way all the material cinches in at the middle of the waist almost creating a star-like pattern. It's so sophisticated and beautiful with the mini-trail and her accessories were perfectly matched, leaving the neck bare really shows off the victorian lace detail.

Kate Mara in J. Mendel
The combination of the two materials is very modern, this gown looks almost futuristic in terms of the layered sleeves and the cinched in material at the waist also the mini waterfall affect really compliments the chiffon in the centre of the dress.

Amber Heard in Versace
This dress was one of my favourites, I'm a huge fan of the midnight blue colour especially if it satin/silk, the designers this year seem to be playing around with waterfall styles and the folding and pleats of material and this dress demonstrates this beautifully. The cut on the leg isn't too revealing but reveals enough to make it look classy. Also, I'm kind of in love with her heels which as if her legs didn't need even more elongation they look perfect on her.

Rosci Diaz in Edie Parker
This combination of off-whites and creams with the mesh detail looks incredible again the halter neck is a more subtle halter neck than the others, the triangular shape and pattern of the lines look incredible and ties in well with the fishtail style. Her nails look perfectly manicured and her accesories were chosen right and are not too overbearing but does the gown justice!

Sarah Paulson in Marchesa, Christian Louboutin, Irene Neuwirth
This dress is so beautiful I don't really know what to call this material.. lace? Layered lace or mesh? I don't know but the sparkle and the glimmer and the layering pleats of a rah-rah skirt looks incredible. It's such a simple dress in terms of the cut but appears so beautifully on her.

Giuliana Rancic in Lorena Sarbu, Christian Louboutin, Forevermark
Last but most of all not least is Giuliana Rancic's dress. This raspberry coloured netting is gorgeously detailed with beautifully coloured sequins, the pattern is so intricate she wears this dress really well. It's not too overpowering but it's just about right for her, she looks stunning!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
God bless,
All my love,
