IF I HAD A HOUSE: Anthropologie HOME DECOR - WISHLIST

I have always been obsessed with colours. Vibrant colours and exotic floral patterns are things I would quite literally marry if I had the chance too. My bedroom back at home and my university hall bedroom are victims of my attempt to splash colour everywhere. I love bright colours like reds and blues, dark greens, light greens, lemon and mustard yellows, royal purples and shimmery golds - anything that visually excites the eyes, I'm drawn to. So having only come across Anthropologie in recent years what draws me to them most is their use of patterns and colours. If I had a doppelganger in shop form, Anthropologie would be it.

If you have visited their website then you would know that on the rare occasions that they have sales, their prices are steep. I, as a student couldn't possibly afford Anthropologie but that doesn't mean that I can't dream and admire their products from afar. Here is my Anthropologie Home Decor Wishlist - i.e the items that I would ever have ownership over if I sold everything I had (then even still I wouldn't have enough money to buy that bed).

1//Habari Mug - £10 // 2 // Crackled Batik Quilt - £148 // 3 // Ankara Throw - £88 // 4 // Thayer Curtain £98 // 5 // Orissa Shower Curtain £78 // 6 // Mirelle Bed - £2,200 // 7 // Crackled Batik Pillow case £58 // 8 // Moresque Chair - £398

Thank you for checking this post out guys,
God bless,
All my love,

Hello April: WISH LIST

Hey beautifuls, this is my April Wish list, they're just clothing items and a few accessories that I have been eyeing up recently, lots of colour for Spring and Summer. Also, an apology for my blogging absence I'll will be sure to get back into the swing of things a.s.a.p! I hope you enjoy this quick blog post to start off April, also Spring has arrived (kind of) in England so be on the look out for posts of sunny days, yes, I repeat, sunny days in England.

Bags

Can we just take a moment to admire the beauty of these bags that Accessorize have to offer? I don't usually tend to buy accessorise from there but these bags made my eyes open and they're beautifully designed and would go perfect with any spring/summer outfit.

The first bag is £22 with the diagonal panel and its available in white and brown.
The pink mini-winged bag is £25 and takes inspiration from high-end bag designs as you can tell, but is way more affordable.
The daisy cutout bag is £19 also a gorgeous addition to any girls spring wardrobe the detailing is beautiful and the colour really does make it pop.

Jeans

I have been slowly easing myself into wearing jeans, I didn't wear jeans at all last autumn/winter and now I'm getting into them (I'm weird) I just figured that they look great with sandals if I'm not currently feeling comfortable enough wearing bare-legs I mean, it's sunny but it's not that sunny. Both of these jeans are from New Look, I have been eyeing up their acid-wash jeans for quite a while now!

The pair on the left are £25 - I drew inspiration to get a pair of boyfriend jeans through Instagram, I loved the idea of how casual it could make a look, I have a problem that involves dressing up too fancy for everyday outings so a pair of these shall do me just fine!
The pair on the left are £23 from New Look and they are just a simple acid wash jean, here's hoping they're still on trend because I haven't yet had a chance to purchase them but I believe these two styles will definitely help me ease into wearing jeans in my everyday outfits.

Maxi Skirts

Okay, having been born a shorty, I have not yet ventured out into the mysterious world of maxi dresses, I have been warned by most that they would envelope me and make me look like I've just risen out of the ground so I always shied away from this style but after seeing a beautiful picture of Vanessa Hudgens in a floral maxi skirt, I had to search and give it a try at least!

The floral one is from New Look for £20 the brown is also from New Look for £20 and finally the white maxi skirt is £25 from New Look.

Shorts/Skorts

Can we take a moment to admire how gorgeous these are? The patterns are to die for! The white and floral skort on the far left is from New Look for £8.00 which I believe is such a bargain, for skorts like that I may even ponder the thought that Primark may have advertised this at a more expensive price! The shorts on the right are from River Island and I believe they came in a set - sets are awesome because you can literally create three outfits with what is pretty much one piece so definitely check them out, they were £25.00!

Accessories/Shoes

Even though I haven't found much regarding accessories and shoes I still adore the shoes I chose here, they are such a simple style and are perfect for the spring and summer seasons. I can imagine this neutral colour looking great with floral dresses and skirts with bright tops - the beauty of brown! They were £18 from New Look and in the colour stone.

The light pink 3d flower necklace is a beautiful addition to the beginnings of an amazing spring/summer wardrobe there is so much simplicity in its beauty I really admire the way it was made. This was £15 from New Look which is indeed on the pricier side, I will keep my eyes peeled for cheaper options for you guys, I can feel the holes in my pockets getting bigger as I type #goodbyemoney.

Last but not least and not really a accessory OR a shoe but a beautiful body spray - one that I haven't actually had the opportunity to try out, it's a Victoria Secret Body Spray for £8.33 on the Victoria Secret website apparently in a limited edition of Pure Seduction Bloom as recommended by Ingrid (Missglamorazzi) I figured it must smell amazing because she is amazing so I definitely want to give that a try!

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post of my April Wishlist, I understand April is nearly over, I've actually had half of this post laying in my drafts box for about 2 weeks I just never got around to posting it. Again I apologise for my absence it's been a bit of a stressful week but thankyou to all those who stuck around and are patient with me :)

God bless,
All my love,

♥THE BEDROOM: Decor & Ideas

Hey guys,

Today's post will be about bedroom ideas, I recently made the decision to actually redo my bedroom and it's the first time that I've actually been able to it since moving from having my bedroom downstairs to upstairs. Basically something happened to my Dad health-wise and we thought it would be safer having the bedroom downstairs where the toilet and things are a couple of steps away rather than a flight of stairs. So, before I had my room painted it was orange and yellow, I kid you not. I actually asked my Dad what possessed him to paint the walls orange and yellow and he replied "I just used whatever paint was left over from doing the rest of the house". Haha, fair enough. Anyway, now my bedroom is purple and a light brown - purple/raspberry on the statement walls and light brown on the side walls. I have yet to do things like, paint the ceiling which still remains an off-white almost yellow colour so that will be my next endeavour!

I do want to do more to my room in terms of storage, my things have no home, in my bedroom as it were they're mostly scattered around my room so at times it can become really cluttered. I also want to see if I can change my horrible mauve/brown/red/I don't even know what colour carpet but that can wait, I can deal with the carpet for now. Part of me was like, maybe you shouldn't bother, seeing as you're nearly off to uni however I will be back to stay with my parents no doubt so I might as well!

Here are a few pictures that I took off of Tumblr, so credit to the photographers/bedroom-owners that these belong to, they are absolutely stunning:

As you can tell a majority of these pictures are really girly, I've recently got into fun pinks and girly floral patterns so that is the reason why. I hope you guys enjoyed this super quick post, I apologise for it being so quick!
God bless

Happy Birthday to mee! :D

Hey loves,

It's that time of year again, it's my birthday! I'm an hour in already and like always birthdays make me nostalgic. I'm ready to crack the photo albums out but I won't, I will refrain from the baby pictures, caterpillar cakes and parties that I had as a child with guests that I can only just about remember! If you weren't aware of the age I'm turning today the answer is 19 years of age. God pulled me through to the age of 19, for starters I am incredibly blessed, blessed to have a roof over my head, a supportive family and incredible friends, they are so wonderful to me and yesterday I got to spend it with my closest and tomorrow even more time spent with people I love.

Another thing about Birthdays is the fact that they make me think, they make me think of the rest of my life and the years to come. They make me think, what now? So I've decided to write a list. My closest know that I love to write lists, it's a bit of a habit but I have no shame. A list, is appropriate right now as I ponder on all the things I haven't yet acheived in my life, all the experiences I wish to have and all the mistakes that I am undoubtedly going to make.

So here we go:

1. I wish to survive going to Uni, with my faith still in tact and hopefully on the verge of being a woman that does my God proud.
2. I wish to be happy, in all aspects of my life. A genuine happiness in a relationship (if I'm in one), in singleness (if I become it) and just happy with life in general.
3. I wish to not place my happiness on others.
4. I wish to learn and know my worth and never question that. Ever.
5. I wish to pass my Grade 8 on the Violin in the Summer.
6. I wish to keep this blog going for all the years to come.
7. I wish to never stop taking photos no matter how many looks I get.
8. I wish to travel.
9. I wish to work on a Magazine.
10. I wish to work in Ministry and bring the glory due to the Lord's name.
11. I wish to never ever lose contact with my family no matter where I am in the world.
12. I wish to stop caring what other people think about me.
13. I wish my confidence will increase.
14. I wish I will learn to love every part of myself, body, soul and mind.
15. I wish to have more humility.
16. I wish to just be real, people that are just real with themselves will find people relate to them more rather than appearing like Ms. Perfect.
17. I wish to have more control over money and spending.
18. I wish to love and cherish those around me and to never forget who was there to help me through life.
19. I wish to do what makes me happy and learn from mistakes and to accept that not everything works out.
20. I wish to be strong in my Faith, a rock that cannot be shaken, remaining strong and steadfast in the Lord.
21. I wish to take better care of my hair and my skin. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise.
22. I wish to keep on making wishes and to never forget that the only way they can come true is if I work hard for them and trust in the Lord.

So there are my 22 Wishes, I should have really done 19 in order to keep running on the 19 theme, but alas no, I shall keep it at 22 and I hope to come back to this blog post next year when I am 20!! WHAT.... It feels like only yesterday that I was 7.
Ok.
That's a lie, I can't really remember being 7... 14 is more accurate. *High five* for those with bad memory.

Thankyou for reading :D
God bless,

Lipsticks for the Festive Season!

Hey loves,
I have seen a lot of people wearing the famous red lipstick look this festive season and I'm quite the avid red lipstick collector. It's so strange a few years ago I literally would be way to nervous to try such a bold lip colour with the fear of it smudging on my teeth or worse - my chin. Anyway, after building a bridge I decided to branch out and actually my first ever MAC purchase is pictured here and it has literally lasted me 2 years and can probably go for at least, minimum another two years!

I'll start by numbering the ones pictured above :)

2. Loreal - Color Riche Serum in True Red

I have literally had this colour for so long, I found it on sale a while ago it has the slightest tear drop shape pink colour in amongst the beautiful red which I think was a wonderful touch. The packaging is gorgeous - there's something about gold packaging that just makes whatever is inside that little bit more special. This is a very creamy lipstick with a very glossy finish I normally wouldn't wear it so glossy so I would simply use my finger to blend. It probably lasts up to three hours but if you're constantly drinking water or have a dinner to go to I would definitely bring it to touch the colour up which doesn't remain on for so long if you are partaking in these activities.

4.Collection 2000 - Gothic Glam Collection in 3 Revenge

You guys have heard me rant about my love for this lipstick way too many times, my apologies I just feel like it's the most gorgeous plum colour which is similar of that concerning MAC's Rebel, I read a comparison blog post on it the other day. With this colour you are able to play up the intensity so when you first put it on it'll appear a beautiful deep purple but using your finger to seperate the colour creates this raspberry plum colour which is perfect for the Christmas season. This also has a very glossy finish and unfortunately does not last that long but all you need to do is carry it around in your bag :)

1. Rimmel London - Lasting Finish Lipstick in 136 Ballistic

I absolutely love this colour it's like a red wine mixed with plum which gives of the most gorgeous plum colour. What I also love about this product is the fact that it doesn't have a glossy finish despite it being a creamy consistency therefore that is the result of a perfect balance which is just what I love to see in a lipstick. It also lasts a few hours and even the faded colour that reveals itself after a few hours of wear is gorgeous because I find it's disappears evenly which is perfect!

3. MAC - Matte in Ruby Woo

So here it is, my first ever MAC product that I got 2 Christmases ago, best present ever? Yes. Literally it costs so much including postage and packaging for one freaking lipstick but it was totally worth look how long it lasted! The best thing I find about Matte lipsticks is that you can have the best of both worlds if you add lipbalm/vaseline the downside is the fact that it's dry to put on and feels uncomfortably dry during the day which is an awful shame considering the actual matte effect that appears on your lips look beautiful, it's just a shame you can't have the Matte look without the dryness but nonetheless this colour is awesome and one that I find is perfect for any season due to its brightness and versatility.

5. Rimmel London - Lasting Finish Kate Lipstick 01

This was a present I got from my brother the same Christmas I got my Mac lipstick, what a sweetie (yes I chose it AND wrapped it for myself but the thought is still there) This is probably my most worn lipstick to Ruby Woo one of the first things that struck me about this lipstick is the beautiful packaging I mean the simpleness of Kate's signature against the black look divine. Also the scent OMG just wow I don't really know how to describe it but it smells like those beautiful stores you go into in random towns that sell varieties of beautiful handmade soaps. Yup. That's as best I can describe it. It's like flowers freshly picked. Anyway getting back to the actual lipstick the consistency is creamy and it gives off more of a glossy finish then Rimmel London's Ballistic lipstick, I find that the look is very classic compared to the others which combines that classic feel with gloss making the lips appear very voluptuous.

Here are the non-lipsticks I used, which I'll still involve here because they pretty much do the exact same job as the others did:

1. Maybelline New York - Coloursensational Lip Liner in 547 Pleasure Me Red

Now, I am still very new to the Lip Liner world here, I literally own about 3 of them and I've used them to the point where I'm sharpening them everytime I use it which probably isn't right and also I know what I'm doing wrong... I'm not combining it with a lipstick. My bad. I just find that they can give off an awesome Matte effect that I can instantaneously make moisture with vaseline so really you get, awesome and precise execution of the shape of yours lips and you get to put your desired amount of gloss on. Perfect.
Note to self: must invest in more of these.

Check that demure look. Or my attempt-at-a-model pose. Maybe I should try looking into the camera next time rather than that, "Oh, look as if there's something going on in the corner to show you're totally not bothered by the camera" look.

2. Max Factor Lipfinity Colour & Gloss in 530 Luminous Petal

This lip colour & gloss is incredible for an everyday festive season lip colour I find that these plummy pinks suit my skin tone way more than the bright pink lipsticks and this one is perfect, it's a shame that I'm running out but anyway the Lip colour part creates a matte effect but it also comes with the gloss that you can use which is genius and it leaves the lips looking lovely and glossy although you don't want to put too much on just in case it looks like you've been making out with a guy that could not leave his slobber inside his mouth. Sorry, I know. TMI.

Anyway, that is it for my Lipsticks for the Festive Season post guys,
I really hope you enjoyed it!
God bless,
All my love,

My Christmas Wishlist

Hey loves,
Today's post is going along the theme of being Christmassy, it's my Wish List! I honestly would be beyond happy if I got all of these for Christmas although they are only materialistic things, I won't forget the love of friends and family and most importantly giving thanks to God for our lives and the blessings we have these are just things that I could definitely go on in life without having but it would be lovely to receive :)

I seriously need a new laptop :') It's getting a bit ridiculous and if I'm planning to go to uni next year which fingers crossed I am then I will need one, my current laptop is so slow, the Windows 7 on it is counterfeit and the Wi-fi is not working :( This one seemed to have great memory, looks sleek and also is well in my price range :)

3. I have one MAC lipstick purchase, one that I actually bought from MAC that is but the other 2 I have I got off Ebay and I'm not too sure whether they're real or if the packaging went wrong I just know that weight wise and look wise, they are not the same. 4. My phonecase right now is from Poundland, it's white with a few jewels on so.. I have this phone until June 2nd and I really wanted a case that I just wouldn't fall out of love with and I figured if it's expensive I'm more than likely to keep it on my phone so I found this beautiful one on a store from Etsy I give you the link here. They make incredible cases you guys I did a post about another two I found which I'll link here.

5. I LOVE BENEFIT. It recently came to Boots and it's soooo expensive and I just thought maybe this set will do me just fine?

#BritishBloggerSelection Favourite Shop ♥

Hey loves, this week we have to talk about our favourite shop!
I must say I loveeee shopping, but I always shop in a one without fail and that's: Primark.
Fashion on a budget guys.
The nearest Primark is about half an hour drive to 40 minutes away from me so going to Primark is always a treat. And that is an acceptable reason for my too splurge there. JUST SAYIN'.
Here are a few of my Primark wishlist picks that I found on their website! I'm actually SO excited that they have a website now because it's been my favourite shop for AGES.

Check shift Dress - £17
Lace Floral Dress - £13
Velvet Long Sleeve Crop Top - £7.00
Rose Tea Dress £8.00
Daisy Chic Dress £8.00

I love Primark for its cheap clothes, I still wear many of mine that I got years ago! Their quality is alright and compared to a few years ago Primark have definitely increased their price but it's fine because it's still affordable. They offer on-trend peices for hardly anything! With unique patterns and styles to suit every girl and also random sale rails with gems you can look through for as well as a freaking awesome pyjama section which I cannot leave without going to! Who can argue with this?

Visit their website here: http://www.primark.com/whats-new
They have got the largest collection and most of the peices will be in select Primark stores, it also tells you your nearest one so you can grab a few of your girls and go shopping!

Hope you enjoy this post,

Celeb Style Inspiration: Lily Collins #2

Celeb Style Inspiration: Lily Collins #2

Celeb Style Inspiration: Lily Collins #1 and #2 by rose1995 on Polyvore

Hey loves,
I recently made these boards on Polyvore and its dedicated to one of my recent Celeb Style Inspirations Lily Collins, I recently read an article about her, daughter of the famous Phil Collins moved to USA when she was 6 with her mother and made a name for herself, by herself! She is so gorgeous and she claims to keep her style true to her British roots! She prefers British fashion so yay for us Brits - she says we're more experimentive which makes me proud to be British because when you visit places like London fashion is so awesome there and each person is different and personal with their style!

Celeb Style Inspiration: Lily Collins

In these photos I used she has a lot of different layers of pattern going on which shows the importance of experimenting with different textures to create a funky and eclectic look. I love her combination of colour its bright but not too much that it hurts your eyes. Also her make-up can we just take a minute to admire her make-up!? That girl seriously works it. I'm a huge fan of her big eyes and bold lip colour. Maybe a Lily Collins look is in the works. Now I must invest in some fake eyelashes.

The link to my Polyvore is on a button on the sidebar :)

A sneak peek into my bedroom this Winter♥

Hey loves,
I have a new blog post for you and it consists of little bits of my bedroom that I have recently decorated this year. Obviously my bedroom is still a work in progress but the progress that has been taking place in the recent months have moved so fast and I am getting more and more pleased with it!

I shall list where I got all the things you can see in this post and hopefully try and find the links for you guys :)

Enjoy :)

P.S I have been nominated by Megan from Lazy Thoughts for a Sunshine Award it is an award  for bloggers who are: 'positive and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere' so I'm very excited to start nominating having just done the Liebster Award and seen it as a great way to interact with other bloggers! So look out for that post asap.

So here we gooo:

This is my headboard, originally it was a horrible old school pink colour but I bought this beautiful tapestry-like peice in a junk store that the lady asked £15 for but my papa managed to get it down to £13! Those £2 matter :)

Also my pillows are from Asda and the pillowcases are from Matalan which I got in a matching set for £10.

This is my view from my bedside table, I was watching a movie with my boyfriend and we both had a Caramel and Gingerbread Latte which is in that raspberry coloured mug for £2.50 at Sainsburys.
The lamp my Dad got from a yard sale.
The pink butterfly detailed box is £2.00 from Store Twenty One
The "Follow your Dreams" wooden heart was a present I got for my best friend Rachel.
The birdcage on top I got for £3.00 at Store Twenty One
The Yankee Candle I got from the Yankee Store in Westfield London from £19.00 reduced to £12.74

This is what it looks like with my Fake Olive Tree which I got from one of my dear family friends topped with Fairy Lights that I got from Asda for £3.50

This is atop my mini closet I just stacked my journals there in the middle.
The Ringbinder I got from WHS SMITH for £5.99
The Footprints Journal I got from Soul Survivor for £10.00
The bird journal on top I got from WHS Smiths for £6.99
The turqouise green and gold one on top I got from Tescoes for £6.99
The Pink and Spotty one I got from Paperchase from my beautiful best friend Leyla for my Birthday!

The jar on top of my journals I got from ESK for £1.99 and bought the floral bow seperate for 99p.
The candle on the left I got from Tescoes for £3.99 and the one on the right I got from Izzie for my birthday.
The two picture frames I got in a pack with black frames from Poundland and filled it with a floral wrapping paper I got from Tescoes for £1.99.
I laid it all on a scarf that I got from Primark for £3.00!

I got this bed cover from Asda for £12.00 which match the pillow on top.
The purple bedsheet was £8.00 and the Christmas Blanket was £12.00.
Additionally the heart stringed lights were from ASDA for £8.00
Close-up here:

And the cross was handmade by someone from my old church and the LOVE sign is from Store Twenty One for £2.99.

Here is a random cubby hole that contains books I'm currently reading, a tv and dvd player magazines, photo albums and candles. Toys and a clock and a makeup bag, cd's and a woody canvas!
Oh and a keyboard that doesn't work properly... YAY.

Those pink, purple and turqouise and gold pots were from Esk, they were £1.99 each and gorgeous for holding pens or candles! And the bits of shrubbery you see laying around I have picked from nature :)
That BIC candle lighter is one I use to light the candles with and it is SO GOOD. And easy to use! It was only £2.00 from ASDA.

Here I have to Beach House hangers that my best friends got me from their holiday and I painted them the purple I have on my main focus walls. I just hung all my long necklaces here.
In the middle is a beautiful wooden heart that I got in a sale because it was chipped a little bit on the back for £5.00 from Debenhams.
I also stuck a Vera Wang perfume sampler onto it because it matched my room and looks cute!

I recently stuck this notice board on the back of my door, I was in the process of sticking loads of cute things there like Bible Verses and fashion inspiration and I have even got my Wi-fi code on it just in case my friends ask for it!

This is my chest of drawers/ make-up desk thing that I use to hold my beautiful mirror that my Dad got me for Christmas and skin stuff and hair stuff and jewellery.

This is my bookshelf corner, I ran out of space so I had to place uni prospectuses and notebooks on the floor. But I have a few cute peices that I got for birthday hanging on the top shelf and other random peices there to.

So that it my bedroom tour thing done obviously it's not in depth but I'm honestly so happy in the way it is starting to turn out. You should've seen this bad boy before. Mhm.

See you guys later!
God bless,
Rozzie
