STYLE CRUSH TV: Once Upon a Time

Hey lovelies, todays post is going to be about the television show Once Upon A Time - a show I'm currently obseesed with. To gather what the show is all about you'll have to think of every fairytale ever told and mesh it into one. Imagine every fairytale coming to earth from different lands, insert family issues, complicated love triangles and relationship a bit of resentment and you have Once Upon A Time! I have found outfits that are relative to the styles of a few of the main girl actresses of the show so I hope you enjoy this post as I had a lot of time making it and searching for different clothing pieces.

EMMA SWAN

Emma's style is very casual and simple, she normally pairs plain colours with jeans, combat boots and a leather jacket. Her style is edgy and looks and probably feels comfortable - it's efficient. This reflects her personality at the beginning of the series where Emma has her walls up, the dark wash colours reflect a fierce and sassy persona that she hides behind to stop her from caring. Her style is more on the sporty side which suits her job as Sheriff in the series, it enables her to capture the villains of Storybrooke and fight dragons. As the lead chracter of the show we watch her evolve into a wonderful, caring and loving mother, daughter and friend. She develops that heroic spirit throughout the show (baring in mind I have only just started season 2 - this has the potential to change) therefore the focus is on who she is rather than what she wears and you can find this care-free spirit evident in her choice of wardrobe.

1) Rosie Skinny Jeans - £10 - George at ASDA
2) Black Heeled Boots - £25 - H&M
3) Disc Choker - £7.12 - ASOS
4) Black Skinny Jeans - £10 - George at ASDA

MARY MARGARET (SNOW WHITE)

Mary Margaret's style is girly, floral and cute - her personality is reflected in her clothing. Purity, kindness, love and forgiveness lies in the off-white, ditsy floral patterns, pastel colours and tea dresses. The flows of her dresses and skirts that go outwards accentuate her small waist and end around the knee giving off a 1950's vibe to her style. This shape also creates a look of modesty and about her which suits her occupation perfectly as a primary school teacher.

REGINA (EVIL QUEEN)

Regina's style contains formal elements. there are a lot of assymetric shapes and blazers with pencil skirts that are used in her wardrobe. She dresses formally which is appropriate as the mayor of Storybrooke, this style gives her a sense of authority and power with a look of importance about her. In terms of her shoe choice the black pumps elongate her legs and compliment the smart appearance of her apparel.

RUBY (RED RIDING HOOD)

Red's style is one of my favourites, she plays around with different themes mixing edgy and bohemian together, all with the colour red laced into it. It relates to her name and gives her a unique and signature look. Pictured below are pieces that also centre around the colour black, she accentuates the red further by using a red lipstick. She is also seen sporting a collection of hats which is the perfect accessory to add this fall.

TEEN CHOICE AWARDS FASHION: Best Dressed!

Hey beautifuls,

I originally planned for this post to be put up a few days ago but time escaped me. Did anyone read about the Teen Choice Awards scandal when popular Viners and Youtubers claimed that TCA rigged their voting? All I can say is thankyou for redeeming factors like the performances and the fashion - I have been watching TCA for a good few years and I have always waited with bated breath as the stars hit the carpet in wonderful fashion. I narrowed down 9 outfits that I thoroughly enjoyed to look at and placed them in a little collage for you. The pictures are credited to the photographers I got these photos from a variety of websites and I do not credit any of these to myself - I wish I went though because it looks so fun to attend. Some of my favourite Youtubers were there, Mylifeaseva and Bethany Mota - I'm so proud of both of them they worked so hard to get to where they are!

If you guys wanted to watch the Teen Choice Awards click here.

Cher Lloyd killed it performing with Demi Lovato did she not? I love her outfit here it's so simple when you break it down to a top, shorts and heels but the detailing on her top and the lace mesh tie this look together perfectly. Although I'm not a huge fan of wearing black in the summer (although I confess that I do it sometimes) her natural make-up and hair look make her look incredibly well put together.

Nina Dobrev looked amazing as always, I loved the colour pallette that was spread this Teen Choice Awards and the pattern in her two-peice is unique in every way from the colours to the powdery effect that it created. I believe that the hot pink theme that ran through this outfit complimented her skin tone and the simple fishtail braid tied this look together making it age appropriate for the occasion.

Shay Mitchell always looks stunning, her lace two peice is perfection as well as the silver kitten heel shoes (which appear to be extremely popular this season) what made this outfit pop was not only the lace but the dark red vampy lipstick and amazing Elsa inspired braid make it look very chic.

Chloe Grace Moretz outfit was colourful and very unique, the contrasting colours and patterns made it different but the focus was always on the outfit. I also love the choice of shoe, it's simple and compliments the outfit as well as elongating her legs (as if they needed more elongating). This combination suited Chloe Moretz style and she pulled it off so well!

I love Jordin Sparks, this includes her fashion sense which she has a lot of, two peices are all the rage this season and Jordin brought a wonderful colourful and unique piece to the table with a slight african-style going on with the warm colours and natural hair.

Hailee Steinfield looked very bohemian in her outfit which is one of my favourite styles, the patterns and colours were gorgeous. The lace see-through detailing added a touch of difference to her outfit and created a more edgy vibe to this girly number. Her shoes are also kitten heels but the style is very different to the others.

Taylor Swift always looks beautiful in her outfits, I love how she played the colour card, two colours that you wouldn't necessarily work together she absolutely pulled it off. Again with a two-peice green skirt with black and white detailing and crop top compliments her shape and skin tone and doesn't wash her out too much. The yellow heels give off that 50's vibe and the strap at the top elongate her legs.

Victoria Justice looks wonderful in a crotcheted dress, it's different and has a more beachy vibe to it. However the dress she appears to be wearing underneath creates a more formal and sophisticated vibe.

Shailene Woodley gave inspiring speeches all night and she wore a beautiful outfit. The feather detailing creates an aztec vibe and contrast with the block shape pattern below. I love how her stylist played off of the red in the feathers and gave her red kitten heels, it makes her tie into the season yet wear such a unique piece with confidence in her style and outfit.

I hope you enjoyed my favourite outfits, I'm sorry it was so late,
Thankyou for stopping by,
God bless,
All my love,

Back to School Series: SCHOOL HANDBAGS

Hey guys,

It's that time of the year where back to school items hit the shelves of our local stores - I mean I'm not complaining I am a huge fan of everything related to stationary. Even though school is more than the latest fashions and pencils it's awesome to make school that little bit more exciting starting with the right schoolbag.
It was so much easier in primary school when you were given a bookbag but now for me, entering into university I don't think a bookbags going to cut it. I have chosen bags of reasonable size but in reality it's all about personal preference, personally I would choose the biggest bag on the shelf but I realise that may not be everyone else's choice. Most of these bags are totes, some are backpacks but all are affordable and from high street shops because students, we gotta budget. Even if you're not going to school, these bags are cute for everyday use and versatile for every season, so I hope you enjoy these bags and stay tuned for more posts for my Back to School Series :)

COACHELLA: Vanessa Hudgens - Her fashion story.

2013

Hey guys, I have been absent for so long I tried to think of an interesting post to come back from and seeing as the music festival Coachella in California is happening this weekend I thought I'd share how much I adore Vanessa Hudgens fashion at this festival and have admired her and the whole event from the comfort of my home. Although I would much rather be there than here I figured I would just create a post displaying the attire Hudgens has put together over the years.

For those of you that haven't heard of Coachella it's an annual two weekend, three week-day music and arts festival held in Indio, California. Genres of music that you can hear there are hip-hop, indie, rock and electronic. There are also plenty of opportunities to release your inner creative child that has been hiding away all year (ever since secondary school).

The Coachella Valley stages have been graced with the presence of major artists Muse, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Amy Winehouse and Daft Punk to name but a few. This year is has been said that 150 acts will be performing at the festival on each of the two weekends. OutKast reunite - although I haven't really been paying much attention clearly because I didn't even know they broke up. Lorde will be making a Coachella debut on stage as well as Calvin Harris, Foster the People, Ellie Goulding, Pharrell Williams and Lana Del Ray.

2011
2013

I have gathered together a few favourites of Vanessa Hudgens outfits from previous shows and it's safe to say she really swings it out of the park when it comes to fashion at Coachella and in general life. Her style ranges from bohemian to girly and romantic as well as incorporating tribal patterns in her looks.

2013

One of the most important finishing touches she adds to her outfits are accessories, I don't think a year will ever go by when she doesn't beautifully accessories her clothing. They entail necklaces, bracelets, flower crowns and rings as well as the additional hat and sunglasses.

2012

Another aspect of her Coachella style is her hair which always looks lush especially in the very first photo in this post. Most pictures have her wearing her hair down with any form of curl which looks absolutely gorgeous on her, other times she has her hair tied back with two strands in front. Either way it really does contribute beautifully to the overall look.

#2 What's in my March Ebay basket?

Hey guys,

This is the second in the series of posts, I figured I could just stick to Ebay as it was proven so popular in my last post which you can check out here:
There are no colour schemes within this post really, it's all a bit varied in terms of colour however I have focused on making sure that they are inexpensive a few favourites of mine are the pale pink jelly shoes which I think is perfect for spring/summer another favourite of mine is this blue blazer pictured below, I think the cut is gorgeous and very flattering and so cheap, I was shocked because I have been searching for an inexpensive blazer for so long and Ebay may be the answer to my blazer problems.

Like always, prices and link will be below, I hope you guys enjoy this post :)

God bless,
