LET'S TALK: Hello April!

Dear April,

You hold many days of revision and completing my final deadlines of year 2 at University but that's okay because I'm sure you hold many days of lounging in the sun, spending time at the beach, wearing floral dresses and having barbecues. I'm grateful that you bring flowers left right and centre. Flowers are my favourite. You can tell because I wear floral and have loads of floral things in my possession. I would also love for you to bring the sun more often, goodness knows England needs it. I hope you bring sunny days and long nights spent with good company, music and laughter. I hope you bring roadtrips to new places, adventures in forests and dancing in fields. Of eating ice-cream and exploring new places. Of walking until our feet hurt and gazing at His creation. I hope you bring new friendships and strengthen old ones. I hope you bring fellowship and community to our surroundings, I pray for impact and an outpouring of love in light of everyone we meet. I hope you bring nights spent singing into His atmosphere accompanied with a guitar. I pray you will captivate our hearts with your beauty and the beauty He made for us. I pray we see the good in everything that your days bring that we will appreciate every single moment, hours, second, minute that You bless us with.

I hope you bring change in your winds and revival in His streets that starts in our hearts. I'm praying that you will bring a season of rebirth, of remembering Whom we belong to. Of loving people even more ferociously than You have enabled us to before. I pray that we can worship Him in truth and that we fall in love with His word, more and more. That He will ignite that fresh, fiery, passion for Him and His people inside of our hearts.

Thank you for your change in season, thank you that we are able to do these things and thank you for the beauty that I know this month will bring because of Him.

1//Seventeen Magazine MARCH 2015 - £2.90 - Tesco's//2//Garnier Micellar Water - £2.99//3//Loreal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation in 30 Honey - £7.99 - Tesco's//4//Barry M Gelly Nail Paint 3 for 2 at £3.99 - Pomegranate, Lychee and Satsuma - Tesco's

There were a few products that I wanted to buy and try this month, Loreal Infallible 24h Matte foundation being one. I saw youtuber Gabrielle Lindley purchase it and she said that she thoroughly enjoyed it. It's been getting pretty raving reviews recently and I'm excited to try it out. Nail-wise I had to buy something new that was the complete opposite of my usual black nail varnish so I opted for Barry M Gelly Shine's nail paint which is one of my favourite and most affordable nail varnishes that has a beautiful finish. I wanted Spring colours, bright colours and colours that complimented my skin tone. Who else is excited for COLOUR?!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post guys,
God bless,
All my love,

Hello April!

Where are these months going? We are already four months into 2015, it feels like it was just yesterday that I was recovering from my Christmas food baby and now I guess I have no excuse for it.

April's arrival means that Spring is here which means flowers, warmth, sun (she hopes) and a noticeable uplift in everyone's temperament.

Along with a new season comes new clothes, new nail trends, hairstyles and colour palettes so I wanted to answer a few questions that I found on Caroline Hirons.com!

1 . What three colours remind you of Spring?
Yellow, Green and all forms of pastel. I'm so excited to wear even more colour than I already do - which on some days, is too much.

2. What is the first thing you add to your Spring wardrobe?
Florals, florals and more florals. Or vibrants prints normally in scarf-form. I'm obsessed.

3. What is the first item that you ditch from your wardrobe to make it more Spring-like?
I'll let go of black. Or will I?

4. What are your ultimate nude and bright lipsticks?
I don't wear nude lipsticks because I feel like I suit colour a lot more and seeing as it's Spring and I have to let go of my more darker colours. I am on the lookout for fuschias. It's bold, and something that I've never tried before but I'm ecsatic to try them out.

5. What is your signature Spring fragrance?
Victoria Secret's Daydream is a favourite of mine.

6. What do you add or drop from your skin care routine?
Lighter foundations is a must, I've been wanting to have a break from heavy foundations that I've been wearing in the Winter.

7. Do you change your hair up in Spring?
I haven't been to the hairdressers in years, my hair is almost down to my butt so I shall change it up by cutting it, I hope to cut a few more layers into it for a lighter touch as well - this will all be worth it and easier to handle.

8. Are there any exciting beauty releases that you can’t wait for?
Revlon's Ultra HD Lipsticks and Lip Lacquers and the Tarte Tartelette Shadow Palette.

9. What are your three favourite nail colours for Spring?
I currently have Turqouise on my nails from the Barry M Gelly collection. I can feel myself getting into White and a light Blue this Spring.

10. Who do I tag?
Karla Vargas! :D

Hello April: WISH LIST

Hey beautifuls, this is my April Wish list, they're just clothing items and a few accessories that I have been eyeing up recently, lots of colour for Spring and Summer. Also, an apology for my blogging absence I'll will be sure to get back into the swing of things a.s.a.p! I hope you enjoy this quick blog post to start off April, also Spring has arrived (kind of) in England so be on the look out for posts of sunny days, yes, I repeat, sunny days in England.

Bags

Can we just take a moment to admire the beauty of these bags that Accessorize have to offer? I don't usually tend to buy accessorise from there but these bags made my eyes open and they're beautifully designed and would go perfect with any spring/summer outfit.

The first bag is £22 with the diagonal panel and its available in white and brown.
The pink mini-winged bag is £25 and takes inspiration from high-end bag designs as you can tell, but is way more affordable.
The daisy cutout bag is £19 also a gorgeous addition to any girls spring wardrobe the detailing is beautiful and the colour really does make it pop.

Jeans

I have been slowly easing myself into wearing jeans, I didn't wear jeans at all last autumn/winter and now I'm getting into them (I'm weird) I just figured that they look great with sandals if I'm not currently feeling comfortable enough wearing bare-legs I mean, it's sunny but it's not that sunny. Both of these jeans are from New Look, I have been eyeing up their acid-wash jeans for quite a while now!

The pair on the left are £25 - I drew inspiration to get a pair of boyfriend jeans through Instagram, I loved the idea of how casual it could make a look, I have a problem that involves dressing up too fancy for everyday outings so a pair of these shall do me just fine!
The pair on the left are £23 from New Look and they are just a simple acid wash jean, here's hoping they're still on trend because I haven't yet had a chance to purchase them but I believe these two styles will definitely help me ease into wearing jeans in my everyday outfits.

Maxi Skirts

Okay, having been born a shorty, I have not yet ventured out into the mysterious world of maxi dresses, I have been warned by most that they would envelope me and make me look like I've just risen out of the ground so I always shied away from this style but after seeing a beautiful picture of Vanessa Hudgens in a floral maxi skirt, I had to search and give it a try at least!

The floral one is from New Look for £20 the brown is also from New Look for £20 and finally the white maxi skirt is £25 from New Look.

Shorts/Skorts

Can we take a moment to admire how gorgeous these are? The patterns are to die for! The white and floral skort on the far left is from New Look for £8.00 which I believe is such a bargain, for skorts like that I may even ponder the thought that Primark may have advertised this at a more expensive price! The shorts on the right are from River Island and I believe they came in a set - sets are awesome because you can literally create three outfits with what is pretty much one piece so definitely check them out, they were £25.00!

Accessories/Shoes

Even though I haven't found much regarding accessories and shoes I still adore the shoes I chose here, they are such a simple style and are perfect for the spring and summer seasons. I can imagine this neutral colour looking great with floral dresses and skirts with bright tops - the beauty of brown! They were £18 from New Look and in the colour stone.

The light pink 3d flower necklace is a beautiful addition to the beginnings of an amazing spring/summer wardrobe there is so much simplicity in its beauty I really admire the way it was made. This was £15 from New Look which is indeed on the pricier side, I will keep my eyes peeled for cheaper options for you guys, I can feel the holes in my pockets getting bigger as I type #goodbyemoney.

Last but not least and not really a accessory OR a shoe but a beautiful body spray - one that I haven't actually had the opportunity to try out, it's a Victoria Secret Body Spray for £8.33 on the Victoria Secret website apparently in a limited edition of Pure Seduction Bloom as recommended by Ingrid (Missglamorazzi) I figured it must smell amazing because she is amazing so I definitely want to give that a try!

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this post of my April Wishlist, I understand April is nearly over, I've actually had half of this post laying in my drafts box for about 2 weeks I just never got around to posting it. Again I apologise for my absence it's been a bit of a stressful week but thankyou to all those who stuck around and are patient with me :)

God bless,
All my love,
